Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
• Implement flows, validation rules, dynamic forms, and page layouts.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
• Build and extend Agentforce agents with Apex, Flow, and trusted-data-grounded prompt templates.
• Gather technical requirements with administrators, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Apply development best practices and design patterns to maintain quality and performance.
• Perform unit testing, support QA/UAT, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
• Maintain technical documentation for features, APIs, agents, and integrations.
• Manage releases and deploy changes with Gearset, Copado, or Change Sets.
• Retire legacy automation and Aura components by migrating to Flow and LWC.
• Track Salesforce releases and identify useful new platform features.

Qualifications and Capabilities

• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification is required.
• Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification is required.
• Agentforce Specialist Certification is desirable, or candidates may complete it within six months of joining.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, REST/SOAP integrations, and middleware platforms.
• Exposure to Agentforce and Data 360 is desirable, or candidates should show appetite to build in these areas.
• Familiarity with Git and deployment tools such as Gearset or Copado is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile sprints.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required; additional languages are a plus.
