Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
• Implement Salesforce flows, validation rules, dynamic forms, and page layouts.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP API, Platform Event, and middleware integrations.
• Build and extend Agentforce agents, custom actions, and trusted-data prompt templates.
• Gather technical requirements with administrators, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to development best practices.
• Perform unit testing, support QA/UAT, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
• Maintain documentation for features, APIs, agents, and integrations.
• Participate in release management and deploy changes with Gearset, Copado, or Change Sets.
• Retire technical debt by migrating legacy automation to Flow and Aura components to LWC.
• Track Salesforce platform releases and relevant new features.

Desired Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification is required.
• Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification is required.
• Platform App Builder and Advanced Administrator certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, and flows.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Agentforce and Data 360 exposure, or willingness to develop in those areas.
• Familiarity with Git and deployment tools such as Gearset or Copado.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in agile sprint environments.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
