About The Role
A Vendor Management & Budget Control Specialist within the Customer Service department based in Airoli , you will be responsible for managing external suppliers and service providers while ensuring financial discipline across multiple service units, including the CDC, GRD, Email Teams, and Loan Centres .
This role involves overseeing the entire vendor lifecycle and business budget control processes—ranging from supplier selection and performance monitoring to relationship management, cost optimization, expense tracking, and internal financial reporting.
Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors in alignment with business needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
Conduct regular vendor audits and risk assessments.
Budget Monitoring & Control
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and manage budgets.
Track expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Analyse cost variances and recommend corrective actions
Tracking of monthly, quarterly, and annual budget
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Education
- Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficiency in budgeting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or financial budgeting & planning
Skills And Attributes
- Experience with vendor management platforms
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Key Success Metrics
- Adherence to contract renewal and regulatory requirements
- Budget variance, cost per seat and employee, preparing increasing and decreasing trend report.
