Job Purpose
'The Sales Manager – Direct is responsible for sourcing and driving gold loan business through sales channels at the assigned location. The role focuses on open market sourcing, digital lead conversion, execution of local marketing activities, and managing the DST (Direct Selling Team) to achieve sales targets while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance.
Key / Primary Responsibilities
- '• Drive customer acquisition through open market sourcing, referrals, and local channel relationships.
- Convert digital leads received from SO App and online platforms with prompt action and follow-up.
- Ensure effective lead tracking, quality calling, and closure of ageing and pending leads.
- Conduct regular field visits for sourcing, competition mapping, and opportunity identification.
- Execute branch-level BTL activities such as canopies, society activations, shop branding and stalls.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales, disbursement, and revenue targets for the location/territory.
- Ensure high-quality sourcing with complete documentation, accurate KYC, and adherence to compliance norms.
- Coordinate with branch operations for smooth loan processing and disbursements.
- Strong knowledge of local markets, sourcing practices, and customer handling.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting on leads, sales, DST productivity, and BTL activities.
- Report directly to the Location Head and work closely to achieve business objectives.
Secondary Responsibilities
- '-Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the assigned area
- '-Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Retail Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service
- '-Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree: any
- Years of Experience: 2 Years
