Job Purpose
Serve as the primary link for insurance agents by building relationships, supporting agent development, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and develop the team while resolving customer and agent issues and delivering business plans and reports.
Sales Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop life insurance sales agents and manage their activity, retention, and development.
- Conduct joint field work, demonstrate successful sales skills, and ensure adherence to company processes.
- Run regular team meetings, monitor recruitment and sales targets, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage leads, support customer service, and drive agent activation, retention, and income growth.
- Complete all mandatory certifications and provide business status reports and action plans.
Team Structure
- The role reports to the Sales Head.
- The role manages a team of 10 to 12 agents and includes joint field work with agents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least five years of sales experience and five years of people-management experience.
- Proven positive sales performance and successful completion of mandatory certifications.
- Life insurance sales experience is considered an asset.
Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Business growth and entrepreneurship development mindset.
- Ability to create, own, and implement sales and team development plans.
- Ability to monitor sales progress, analyze sales data, identify training needs, and assess opportunities.
- Management, leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
