Job Purpose
:
The candidate will be responsible for selling products and services to existing customers, soliciting new business clients to increase sales revenues, and building business by identifying prospects and selling products; maintaining relationships with clients.
Sales executives work against periodic targets set at monthly, quarterly, and yearly levels.
The equipment can range from welding, Lifting, safety, abrasives, and hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
- :
- Sell the company’s products by implementing a sales plan, to be aware of the complete product range that can be offered to clients. To have full awareness of products through brand catalogs and technical data sheets.
- Ability to achieve the assigned monthly budget for the product brand/category.
- Responsible for achieving monthly sales target, daily customer site visits, and weekly customer site visits, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting, potential clients who are good at payments, etc.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate and create clients (traders/new end-users).
- Ability to represent in exhibitions for the brand associated with the company.
- To be aware of market competition brands and competitor prices (with validation).
- Making use of the print and electronic media to get information on new projects awarded, market information.
- Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, phone, business contacts, Site Visits).
- Maintains a high level of attention to detail, managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs)
- Quotation Followup, Negotiation & Finalisation of orders.
- Preparation of Weekly Sales & Visit Plan. Plans to be discussed with the line manager. Increase the customer base of the company as per the given KPI’s.
- Learns and conducts product demonstrations.
- Provides technical assistance, pre-sales and after-sales support service to provide technical backup as required for effective customer support, directly or with the help of the technical support team.
- Constant and timely follow-up for payments and ensure the collection within approved credit terms.
- Enhance knowledge in ERP and computer systems, utilise data in ERP for adding products and increasing sales revenue with customers.
- Update pending SO’s, pending DO’s for smooth operations.
- Deal with customer complaints appropriately and as per defined systems and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken wherever required.
- Ensure proper tracking of DO and invoices is done to ensure timely payment collection.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% academic score.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with experience on ADNOC, EPC, or Government projects.
- Sales Target: AED 250,000 per month
