About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated
Sales Engineer
with a strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on knowledge of the metal and aluminum industry in the GCC, preferably UAE.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen to support sales growth, drive customer engagement, and provide technical solutions to clients across industrial, metal fabrication, and aluminium processing sectors.
Prior crane experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the metal fabrication, aluminium processing, and related industrial sectors across UAE and the GCC.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers including fabrication plants, contractors, project engineers, production managers, and procurement teams.
- Understand customer technical requirements and translate them into tailored product/solution proposals.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customers.
- Provide accurate product knowledge and support pre-sale technical queries, including interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to effectively communicate features, benefits, and competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, supply chain) to ensure accurate quotations, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers including pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to promote solutions and grow market presence.
- Maintain accurate sales records, sales forecasts, and pipeline management through CRM/ERP systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales or technical sales experience in metal and aluminium industries in the UAE / GCC.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, metal fabrication, aluminium production, and industrial equipment.
- Experience engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.

- Prior exposure to material handling, lifting equipment, cranes, or industrial automation solutions (optional).
- Existing network in UAE metal fabrication and industrial sectors
