POME is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to join its Sales Department in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports sales and business development activities across the construction and infrastructure sector.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Understand project requirements from clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, technical submissions, and sales documentation.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, inquiries, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to address client requirements.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, presentations, and industry events when required.
- Research infrastructure and construction projects for potential opportunities.
- Promote company products and solutions.
- Support senior sales team members with projects and accounts.
- Monitor industry developments, market trends, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, engineering, business development, or a related field.
- Mandatory experience in infrastructure, construction, roads, geotechnical, or another construction-related sector.
- Engineering or technical background.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Strong communication, client-facing, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand technical information and communicate it to clients.
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn.
- UAE construction or infrastructure market experience is an advantage.
