Summary
:
We are seeking an experienced Trailer Driver to operate an articulated/heavy trailer transporting machinery, equipment, and bulk construction materials to and from a project site in Abu Dhabi.
The role demands strong handling skills for heavy and oversized loads and strict compliance with UAE road safety standards.
Responsibilities
:
- Operate an articulated trailer truck to transport heavy machinery, containers, or bulk construction materials
- Ensure proper load securing and correct weight distribution as per RTA guidelines
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of both the truck and trailer units
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, trip sheets, and logbooks
- Coordinate with site supervisors/timekeepers for scheduling and dispatch
- Report any mechanical issues or road incidents immediately
- Ensure all vehicle/trailer documents (Mulkiya, insurance, license) remain valid and up to date
- Strictly follow UAE traffic laws and site HSE protocols
Requirements
:
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Driving License (Category 3, 4 & 8 — articulated/trailer classification)
- Minimum 3+ years of trailer/articulated truck driving experience in the UAE; flatbed or low-bed trailer experience preferred
- Experience handling heavy or oversized loads is an advantage
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Physically fit and able to pass the UAE medical fitness test required for license renewal
- Basic English communication skills; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus
- Willingness to work long hours, shifts, and long-distance routes when required
- Visa/NOC formalities must be straightforward to process quickly
