- Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by the shopkeeper
- Meets or exceeds weekly sales targets
- Participates in all market hall inventories
- Participates in and attends all store meetings and other related functions
- Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule
- Is flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties
- Follows IKEA policies and procedures 100%
- Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code
- Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile
- Provides customers with current relevant information
Requirements
- Experience and good knowledge of retail sales
- Customer focus & adherence to Al Futtaim and IKEA values
- Proficiency in Navision systems and basic Excel and reporting skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and adapt during high volume periods

Overview of the Role
- The Sales Assistant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience in market hall area, this role will support on all operational duties as assigned by the shopkeeper which includes arranging products, maintain the sales floor, etc.
