Position Summary

  • TrueForge is hiring a Sales / Account Manager to expand our client base and maintain strong relationships with our customers.
  • You will identify businesses that can benefit from our legacy application modernization services, pitch our solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and reach out to potential clients, developing a pipeline of companies in need of legacy system modernization.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demos tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts—negotiating terms and closing new business deals.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, checking in regularly and coordinating with delivery teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Meet and strive to exceed sales targets and KPIs through both new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated success in a B2B sales or account management role, preferably in technology or IT consulting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and business challenges.
  • Strong relationship building skills with a customer centric mindset.
  • Self motivated, goal oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with at least 2 years in the IT industry.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client accounts successfully.
  • Familiarity with selling IT services or software solutions; knowledge of legacy systems and modernization is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings or industry events as needed.
