Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role
- Hands on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Terraform)
- Proficiency with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.) is a plus

Position Summary
- TrueForge is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that underpins our legacy modernization projects.
- You will implement modern DevOps practices to ensure reliable, efficient deployment and operation of both existing legacy systems and newly modernized applications.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar) and on premises servers to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes, enabling legacy applications to run in modern environments.
- Implement infrastructure as code (using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation) to provision and configure environments consistently and repeatably.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes and quickly resolve any deployment or environment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a stable, secure production environment through proactive monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization by tuning servers, databases, and network configurations.
- Oversee configuration management to maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, continually seeking ways to improve automation and reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in DevOps or systems administration with hands on experience managing cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in production environments.
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to automate tasks and manage configurations.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams, and a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Hands on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, or Terraform).
- Proficiency with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.) and experience integrating them into operations is a plus.
