About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Sommelier and ensure the sake list is up to date with correct information
- Ensure correct stock levels are in place before each service
- Make sure all sake are kept and served at the correct temperature
- Support the sommelier team with sake and wine deliveries and ensure proper storage
- Assist the Head Sommelier with staff training and share sake knowledge
- Assist members with sake selections and provide expert recommendations including food pairings
- Maintain guest preference records to enhance member experience
- Assist in keeping operating costs to a minimum by efficient use of resources
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant
- Internationally recognised professional certification
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken
- Ability to recommend food and sake pairings
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods
- Impeccable manners and immaculate personal presentation

About The Arts Club Dubai
- The Arts Club Dubai is located in DIFC, set over four floors totaling 65,000 sq ft in ICD Brookfield Place.
- It is the first international outpost of the historic private members' club established in 1863 in Mayfair, London.
Role Summary
- A Sake Sommelier is responsible for ensuring smooth service and delivering the best sake, wine and beverage experience to Members and guests.
What Will You Do
- Assist the Head Sommelier and ensure the sake list is up to date.
- Ensure correct stock levels before each service.
- Make sure all sake are kept and served at correct temperature.
- Support sommelier team with deliveries and proper storage.
- Assist with staff training and share sake knowledge.
- Assist members with sake selections and food pairings.
- Maintain guest preference records.

- Be responsible for your own development through trainings.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining.
- Internationally recognised professional certification.
- Excellent English, written and spoken.
- Ability to recommend food and sake pairings.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.
