About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Waiter in running a station during allocated schedule, including taking orders and looking after food and beverage service
- Ensure items served are correctly inputted in the point of sale
- Promote sales and build good relationships with members and guests
- Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests
- Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensure all crockery, cutlery and equipment needed for service are prepared and available
- Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum
- Ensure the outlet is clean and presentable throughout opening times
- Monitor daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 3 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
- Excellent team management, communication and listening skills
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods

- The Arts Club Dubai is located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors in ICD Brookfield Place.
- It is the first international outpost of the celebrated private members’ club established in 1863 in Mayfair, London.
What Will You Do
- Assist the Head Waiter in running a station during allocated schedule, including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and making sure that the items served are correctly inputted in the point of sale.
- Promote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests, and ensure a positive and lasting guest experience by obtaining direct feedback.
- Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requests.
- Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all crockery, cutlery and any other objects and equipment needed for service are prepared and available.
- Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum.
- Ensure that the outlet is clean and presentable throughout the opening times.

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 3 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.
- Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
- Excellent team management, communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time.
