About the Role

Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements
- Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures
- Assists in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area
- Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace
- Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards
- Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Experience in sewerage line construction, stormwater drainage networks, Sewage Treatment Plants, pumping stations and utility infrastructure works
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards
- Experience in excavation safety, confined space work, utility diversions, and heavy equipment operations
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory/Preferred)
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Confined Space Safety Training
- UAE Driving License (Preferred)

Job Description

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in civil infrastructure projects, including: Sewerage line construction, Stormwater drainage networks, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Pumping stations and utility infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Experience in excavation safety, confined space work, utility diversions, and heavy equipment operations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
