About the Role
AECOM is hiring an entry-level Safety, Health & Environment Specialist I in Abu Dhabi. Under direct supervision, you will perform basic duties in environmental, health and safety disciplines, assist in developing safety programs, monitor hazards, investigate incidents, and participate in training.

- Perform basic and routine duties in environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures
- Assist in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area
- Work with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace
- Participate in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards
- Participate in employee training, emergency preparedness and assure the quality of programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 0 2 years of experience in EHS or related field
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Job Description
