- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes
- Provide expert safety training and education to employees
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Manage and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate safety into project planning
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes
- Lead and participate in safety committees
- Assist project management team in developing site specific safety programs

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough hazard assessments and risk analyses to proactively identify potential workplace dangers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures tailored to specific operational needs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide expert safety training and education to employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
- Manage and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging safety technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Lead and participate in safety committees, promoting employee involvement.
- Assist project management team in developing and executing site specific safety programs.
- Attend, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level.
- Conduct the project's leading and trailing indicator data/document collection and trend analyses.
Additional Responsibilities
- Conduct or assist with major incident analysis.
- Record, monitor, and analyse Safety, Injury, and Hazard statistics.
- Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements.
- Review Safety Submittals and attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings with subcontractors.
- Check the site security, fire, First Aid and welfare facilities.
- Carry out and record regular site safety inspections.
- Assist with onsite injury management and case management.
