- Lead, manage, and optimize all mechanical maintenance activities for land drilling rigs and associated equipment
- Organize the workshop and mechanical yard, manage PMS system
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies
- Ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with KOC standards and HSE policies
- Manage maintenance personnel and contractors
- Control maintenance budgets and drive continuous improvement through reliability engineering and root cause analysis
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical maintenance for land drilling rigs and associated equipment
- Knowledge of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) standards and international codes
- Leadership and management experience in maintenance teams
- Ability to develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies

Job Overview
- The Mechanical Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing all mechanical maintenance activities for land drilling rigs and associated equipment and workshop.
- The role ensures maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) standards, international codes, and company HSE policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and optimize all mechanical maintenance activities for all land drilling rigs and associated equipment.
- Organize the workshop / Mechanical Yard, manage PMS System, drilling rig travelling and handling equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Provide technical leadership, manage maintenance personnel and contractors, oversee maintenance planning and execution.
- Control maintenance budgets and drive continuous improvement through reliability engineering, root cause analysis, and best maintenance practices.
- Ensure all travelling and handling equipment is maintained, inspected, and certified in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
