Operational Ownership

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the Security department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
  • Work strategically with the Director of Security to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
  • Focus on the rejuvenation of the department.
  • Ensure that products and services will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
  • Focus and review regularly through my physical presence, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
  • Provide wide leadership and direction in all areas of security, loss control, security best practices and security programs including strategic planning.
  • Provide guidance regarding 'best practice' business security standards, solutions and guidance to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor security conditions and conduct ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources and advise on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with all departments and external groups to effectively resolve security related issues.
  • Assist on all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained.
  • Assist with maintaining relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and other issuers of security requirement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree / higher diploma (from source metadata)
