Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Specialist role based at Plekhanov University’s campus in Dubai.
Manage Russian-language social media channels and create content aligned with university brand and communication goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content for social media channels.
- Draft posts, stories, short-form videos, and basic graphics.
- Monitor comments and messages and engage with prospective students, partners, and the wider community.
- Coordinate social media campaigns.
- Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and adjust strategies based on analytics and audience feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to support recruitment, events, and institutional initiatives.
- Ensure online communication is accurate, inclusive, and compliant with university guidelines.
On-Site Work
- Support events, capture live content, and interact with students and visitors on campus.
Qualifications
- Strong Russian-language proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for an organization or brand.
- Ability to create and adapt content for posts, stories, short videos, and basic graphics.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data interpretation.
- Understanding of digital marketing, audience engagement, and content scheduling best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with marketing, admissions, academic, and faculty teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in higher education, international student recruitment, or with Russian-speaking audiences is an advantage.
