Role Overview
Full-time, onsite leadership role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Oversees academic programs, teaching quality, curriculum alignment, and academic operations.
Works with institutional units to support enrollment objectives, student success, and academic integrity.
Academic Leadership
- Manage academic policies and procedures and supervise department heads and faculty.
- Coordinate program reviews and enhancements.
- Ensure academic programs align with institutional goals and international standards.
- Foster continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
Institutional Collaboration
- Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams on recruitment, retention, and progression goals.
- Partner with student affairs on student engagement, well-being, and academic success.
- Represent the university in accreditation and regulatory processes.
- Prepare reports and manage budgets related to academic operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in academic administration and leadership of academic units or programs.
- Experience managing faculty teams.
- Proficiency in accreditation documentation, site visits, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
- Strong background in curriculum development, review, design, and assessment.
- Experience with enrollment management and student affairs functions.
Leadership Profile
- Advanced degree in a relevant academic field from an accredited institution; a doctorate is preferably required.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills in higher education.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural international setting.
- Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making abilities, including familiarity with academic metrics and institutional research.
- Gulf or international higher education experience is highly advantageous.
