The Runner supports hospitality service at Mama Shelter Dubai.
The role focuses on delivering food and beverage orders, supporting restaurant operations, and helping create memorable guest experiences.
The Mission
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately to the correct guest.
- Check that dishes meet Mama Shelter standards before they leave the kitchen.
- Work with servers, kitchen colleagues, and bartenders to keep orders moving smoothly.
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
- Keep service stations stocked with utensils, napkins, and essential supplies.
- Handle plates, glasses, trays, and service equipment with care.
- Keep dining areas, service stations, and surrounding spaces clean and organized.
- Stay focused and purposeful during peak service.
- Bring positivity, energy, and a can-do attitude while representing the brand.
Qualifications
- Be comfortable standing, moving quickly, and working through busy service periods.
- Take a proactive approach by identifying tasks and acting without waiting to be asked.
- Work collaboratively with restaurant colleagues.
- Maintain a positive, approachable attitude and stay calm when the restaurant is busy.
- Take pride in keeping workspaces, equipment, and dining areas clean and organized.
