Role Overview
Mama Shelter Dubai is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain clean, safe, and service-ready kitchen and back-of-house areas.
The role supports smooth kitchen and food and beverage operations through cleaning, sanitation, equipment care, and teamwork.
The Mission
- Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure clean and sanitized equipment, utensils, and crockery are available for kitchen and food and beverage operations.
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently during busy kitchen service.
- Keep stewarding areas, kitchens, storage spaces, floors, drains, and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools safely and according to required procedures.
- Support proper waste segregation, collection, and disposal while following sustainable practices.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards, and cleaning-supply shortages to the Stewarding Supervisor.
- Support kitchen and food and beverage teams during busy services.
- Work positively and respectfully with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace.
