Overview Of The Role

  • The Risk Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all risk and safety efforts across the facility, including budgeting, program design, delivery, and evaluation. The role involves establishing a strategic vision supporting organizational continuity and safeguarding against r

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership, vision, and strategy to the department.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental goals, objectives, and programs.
  • Develop a comprehensive facility wide risk and safety program for business continuity.
  • Identify and analyze loss exposure; implement plans to minimize liability and asset losses.
  • Coordinate administrative and clinical activities within the department.
  • Prepare long and short term fiscal budget and resource allocation plan.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to improve emergency response and risk perception.
  • Develop and maintain a management plan for emergency response and recovery.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational disease screening and prevention.
  • Design and ensure delivery of pre employment medical reviews and visa medical assessments.
  • Implement and manage health promotion programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills To Be Successful

  • Excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Competency in interpersonal communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

What Qualifies You For The Role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Science or Nursing.
  • Master's degree in Management or Healthcare Sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with team management experience.
  • Proficiency in investigation tools, root cause analysis, and quality improvement programs.
