Role Overview

Engagement Details

• Employment type is an outsourced contract.
• The contract duration is one year and may be renewed or extended based on business requirements and performance.

Location and Availability

• The role is based in Qatar and requires current local availability with a valid Qatar ID.
• Candidates should be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
• Work location is in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, validate, clean, and format tax data from internal and external systems.
• Perform summaries, trend analysis, comparisons, and pattern identification.
• Prepare datasets, charts, extracts, reports, and analytical outputs for models and dashboards.
• Document data sources, analytical steps, assumptions, requirements, and data gaps.
• Prepare data packs and basic analysis for stakeholder meetings.
• Support analytical tool testing with test datasets, basic test cases, and issue documentation.
• Maintain templates, reference files, datasets, reports, and analytical records.
• Handle confidential tax data according to data governance and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with senior data, risk, modeling, and IT specialists.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, economics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in government, tax, finance, compliance, or risk is preferred.
• Relevant internships or strong academic projects may also be considered.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and basic data analysis or BI tools.
• Strong accuracy, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Integrity and discretion are required when handling sensitive information.
• A related master’s degree and professional certifications are advantageous.
