About the Role
Qatarenergy is seeking a Rigging & Lifting Supervisor to oversee rigging and lifting activities for onshore and offshore facilities. You will ensure safety, quality, and reliability while supervising resources, coordinating with contractors, and verifying lifting plans.

Responsibilities
- Supervise rigging and lifting activities for optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety and seamless execution
- Ensure all rigging and lifting activities are delivered in accordance with company lifting codes and standards
- Ensure all rigging and lifting tools and equipment have valid certification and are maintained and stored properly
- Coordinate with garage team for proper implementation of PM plans and CM repairs for company owned equipment
- Ensure additional manpower and equipment are sourced externally for emergency activities and optimize where possible
- Support long term contractors and monitor and report their performances
- Verify and approve non routine lifting plans of company activities and external contractors
- Ensure rigging and lifting activities meet the biweekly schedule
- Ensure effective toolbox talks are conducted and Job Safety Analysis available for all activities
- Support investigations and recommend corrective actions and monitor proper implementation
- Ensure all EOT cranes and plant elevators are well maintained and available for maintenance activities
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in rigging and lifting supervision
- Knowledge of company lifting codes, standards, and specifications
- Ability to supervise rigging and lifting activities ensuring safety and QA/QC requirements
- Experience with non routine lifting plans and certification of lifting tools and equipment
- Strong communication skills for conducting toolbox talks and job safety analysis

Job Purpose
- Supervise rigging and lifting activities and execute all tasks associated with rigging and lifting to support all company facilities onshore & offshore, onsite, and offsite to the highest levels of safety, quality, integrity, and reliability to achieve optimal operating reliability targets.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Supervise the rigging and lifting activities for optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety, seamless execution and monitor the activities are meeting all QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure that all rigging and lifting activities are delivered in accordance with Company lifting codes and standards & specifications.
- Ensure all rigging and lifting tools and equipment have valid certification and maintained well and stored as per the company standards & specifications.
- Coordinate with garage team for proper implementation of PM plans and CM repairs in a timely manner for the Company owned equipment.
- Ensure additional manpower and equipment are sourced externally for emergency activities and optimize wherever possible.
- Support long term contractors and monitor and report their performances.
- Verify and approve the non routine lifting plans of Company activities and of external contractors.
- Ensure the Rigging and Lifting activities are meeting the biweekly schedule.
