About the Role

Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage teams of Riggers, Banksmen, and Crane Operators
- Perform rigging and lifting operations in compliance with safety standards
- Inspect slings, wire ropes, hooks, and lifting gear for defects
- Assess load size and weight before lifting operations
- Communicate lifting instructions via hand signals and radios
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
- Ensure safe lifting practices and adherence to procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Lifting & Hoisting, Manual Rigging, and use of all types of lifting equipment and lifting gears
- Minimum 3.5 years' experience as a Rigging/Lifting Foreman in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience managing teams of Riggers, Banksmen, and Crane Operators
- Strong knowledge of Heavy Lifting, Manual Rigging, and safe lifting practices
- Valid QSGTL recognized Rigging/Lifting & Banksman Certificate from an approved training provider
- Able to inspect slings, wire ropes, hooks, and lifting gear, and identify/report defects
- Ability to assess load size and weight before lifting operations
- Proficient in lifting communication methods (hand signals, radios, etc.)
- Knowledge of lifting hazards, risk assessments, and mitigation measures
- Able to demonstrate relevant project experience
- Good communication skills and ability to lead multilingual teams
- Willing to perform hands on tasks as required by the Company

Job Overview
