Responsibilities
- Analyze data collected from AMI systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of metering data
- Perform data cleaning, validation, reconciliation, and exception analysis across AMI data sets
- Develop analytical insights to support operational optimization, loss reduction, and performance improvement initiatives
- Design, create, and maintain automated reports and dashboards to monitor AMI system performance
- Identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams
- Collaborate with metering, IT, AMI operations, and engineering teams to improve data accuracy and usability
- Support ad hoc analytical requests and performance assessments from management
- Ensure data governance, confidentiality, and compliance with corporate data policies
- Maintain proper documentation of analytical models, reports, and methodologies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Certification in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Analytics, or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably within AMI or utility systems
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, SQL)
- Ability to manage large datasets and generate actionable insights
- Strong coordination and communication capabilities
- Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred

Job Purpose
- The role holder is responsible for analyzing AMI data to ensure metering accuracy, data quality, and operational performance. The role supports optimization of utility operations through advanced reporting, validation, and data driven insights.
Core Responsibilities
