Responsibilities
- Perform rigging and banksman duties for lifting operations
- Inspect slings, wire ropes, hooks, and lifting gear for defects
- Assess loads and estimate size and weight before lifting
- Communicate lifting signals via radio or hand signals
- Follow safety procedures and risk controls
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Lifting & Hoisting, Manual Rigging, and use of all types of lifting equipment and lifting gears
- Minimum 3.5 years' experience in Heavy Lift & Manual Rigging in the Oil & Gas industry
- Valid QSGTL recognized Rigging / Lifting & Banksman Certificate
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, safety procedures, hazards, and risk controls
- Ability to inspect slings, wire ropes, hooks, and lifting gear, and report defects
- Capable of giving and understanding lifting communication signals (radio / hand signals)
- Able to assess loads and estimate size and weight accurately before lifting operations
- Team player with good coordination skills in site operations

Job Overview
- Immediate hiring for Rigger / Banksman in Ras Laffan, Qatar

- Working hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week

Requirements
