About the role

  • Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Revenue Management team as a Revenue Management Analyst to be based in Doha, Qatar.

Specific responsibilities

  • Implement pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue and RASK with continues review of effectiveness of set strategies and fare offering.
  • Observe OAL pricing activities and ensure the optimal benchmark strategy is implemented.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, evaluate and monitor proactive pricing business cases.
  • Review performance of different fare products and market segments (TO VFR, CUG Students fares etc.) and apply pricing actions when necessary.
  • Analyse losing O&Ds and POS and taking necessary revenue optimization actions.
  • Review proper optimisation parameters which provide the means to ensure leg optimisation reflects market needs and business policies and decisions.
  • Liaise with the Operations Control Centre and Corporate Planning teams to ensure seamless operations with optimal commercial input.
  • Implement optimal overbooking parameters to minimize seat spoilage.
  • Implement sponsorship for new routes and frequencies.
  • Implement DOW level strategies to improve class mix and yield based on DOW trends.
  • Implement and monitor optimization strategies for peak periods including Holidays and Special Events on rolling 360 days PTO.
  • Implement demand influences and RAAV strategies in line with demand seasonality and WoW and YoY trends in booking and market share/size.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years of airline or travel agency experience.
  • Previous Group Desk/Revenue Management experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in PROS Groups System or Groups Handling Desk.
  • Strong analytical ability and strong understanding of revenue management concept.
  • Advanced analytical ability and strong understanding of Revenue Management concepts.
  • Knowledge of data processing and visualization tools like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
