Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead the team to achieve operational and financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including front of house and back of house coordination
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver high quality service
- Ensure excellent customer experiences by maintaining high service standards and responding to guest feedback
- Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, stock control, and minimize wastage
- Control operational costs and support revenue growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and performance
- Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall restaurant presentation
- Collaborate with management on promotions, events, and business improvement strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Experience with inventory control, cost management, and staff scheduling
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic computer skills is preferred
