Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile stock variances
- Review purchase orders, invoices, and supplier pricing for accuracy
- Monitor recipe costing and menu profitability
- Analyze food cost percentages, waste, and inventory shrinkage
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, and issuing of inventory items
- Perform spot checks and internal audits of restaurant inventory and cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, and Operations teams to improve cost efficiency
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and month end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality cost control
- Strong understanding of food and beverage costing principles
- Experience with inventory management systems and POS software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Restaurant Cost Controller to oversee food, beverage, and operational cost control across our restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports.
