About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef – Arabic Cuisine with strong expertise in Gulf cuisine and traditional Arabic dishes to lead our kitchen operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of authentic recipes, traditional cooking methods, menu development, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Arabic cuisine kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain authentic Gulf and traditional Arabic menus.
  • Prepare and oversee traditional dishes while maintaining original flavors and cooking techniques.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen team members.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, inventory control, and food cost.
  • Create new menu concepts while respecting traditional Arabic culinary standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations.
  • Coordinate with management regarding menu planning, costing, and kitchen improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Gulf cuisine, including traditional dishes from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the GCC region.
  • Expertise in preparing traditional dishes such as Machboos, Mandi, Kabsa, grilled meats, seafood dishes, and Arabic specialties.
  • Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to manage high volume kitchen operations.
  • Creative approach with respect for authentic Arabic flavors and traditions.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in luxury restaurants, hotels, or catering operations.
  • Knowledge of traditional Gulf ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to train and develop Arabic cuisine kitchen teams.
