Electronic Arts is seeking a Head of Operations to work with researchers and engineers in its Research and Engineering organization.
The role translates technology strategy into operating processes so engineering teams can focus on innovation.
Location & Model
- This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week in Redwood City, Montreal, or Vancouver.
- The role reports directly to the SVP, Head of Research and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage the leadership team's operating cadence, meeting schedules, and alignment processes.
- Manage budget planning, talent reviews, resource allocation, and organizational design for mid-to-large-sized groups.
- Identify automation opportunities and build workflows that streamline leadership operations.
- Oversee relationships with commercial AI labs, universities, and internal engineering teams.
- Coordinate town halls, leadership messaging, and cross-functional internal communications.
- Act as the operational point of contact between Research and Engineering and Finance, Legal, and Recruiting.
Qualifications
- 10 or more years of experience in business operations, program management, or strategic planning within a technology, software, or engineering organization.
- Proven experience managing operations, budgets, and talent pipelines for a similarly sized organizational group.
- Strong familiarity with modern automation tools and the ability to streamline leadership workflows.
- Successful experience joining established leadership teams, building trust, and driving alignment through influence.
- Experience bringing clarity, structure, and focus to complex technology groups.
- An engineering background is preferred.
Pay Transparency
- The posting lists location-specific pay ranges of CAD 204,600 to CAD 287,500 for British Columbia and CAD 227,300 to CAD 344,700 USD for California.
