Core responsibilities
- Use CVD synthesis reactors, analytical equipment, and tools to synthesize, characterize, and process diamond materials.
- Develop manufacturing techniques including polishing and shaping.
- Design and execute work packages and analyze data to support innovation.
- Invent and patent new CVD growth and processing methods.
- Develop treatments, brazing, metallization, ion implantation, and mounting processes for diamond components.
- Collaborate with commercial and academic partners on materials development, applications, and testing.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a relevant Engineering subject is required.
- Practical laboratory work must be completed with attention to detail in a safe and systematic manner.
- Strong analytical skills for data capture and interpretation are required.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are required.

- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn quickly and apply new skills to solve novel practical problems.
