Role Overview
Renovation Estimation Engineer role with Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The role supports renovation sales through estimation, contract administration, technical costing, and customer coordination.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Renovation Sales Engineers with estimation and sales administration.
- Follow departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Review customer-signed contracts and book them on internal systems.
- Inspect installation drawings against customer-supplied and standard drawings.
- Estimate materials required to deliver contracts against tender specifications.
- Review project specifications and identify supply sources from Otis factories.
Costing and Commercial Support
- Coordinate with factories, sales teams, and design engineers to gather technical and commercial cost information.
- Prepare price lists covering material costs, manpower hours, duties, fees, tools, transportation, and other project requirements.
- Calculate margins and safe buffers for sales propositions.
- Order material releases according to approved drawings.
