Role Overview

  • Our client is an industry leading manufacturer of equipment for the aviation industry.
  • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth across the Middle East and India.
  • This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and supporting complex project based sales cycles.
  • The position is based in Dubai and requires frequent regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional business development — Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Middle East and India.
  • Project sales leadership — Manage long cycle project sales, including tender processes, consultant engagement, and coordination with EPC contractors.
  • Account management — Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, integrators, and airport stakeholders.
  • Sales forecasting — Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market insights to internal leadership.
  • Cross functional coordination — Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing teams to support customer requirements.
  • Market intelligence — Track competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
  • Regional travel — Conduct customer visits, attend trade shows, and support project discussions across the region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Sales experience — 5–7 years of regional sales experience in industrial equipment, aviation, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Project sales expertise — Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder project cycles.
  • Airport industry knowledge — Understanding of airport operations or ground support equipment is a strong plus.
  • Technical aptitude — Ability to interpret and communicate technical product information.
  • Communication skills — Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship building abilities.
  • Regional experience — Familiarity with Middle Eastern and Indian business environments and procurement processes.
  • Education — Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
