Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is located in Abu Dhabi.
- Work location is in person.
Industry
The employer operates in freight forwarding.
Industry experience must be in Abu Dhabi.
Experience and Leadership
- The role requires 12-15 years of experience.
- At least 7-8 years of current experience must be in freight forwarding.
- The candidate should have held a senior leadership or managerial position and managed a team.
- Candidates should preferably be currently based in Abu Dhabi or the UAE and know the Abu Dhabi market.
Sales and Logistics Expertise
- Sales and business development must be a core competency.
- Experience must include personally developing customers, handling senior-level client relationships, and winning new business.
- Strong freight-forwarding and transportation experience is essential.
- Practical exposure to Dangerous Goods transportation is mandatory.
Preferred Sector Exposure
- Class 7, radioactive material, or nuclear logistics exposure is a major advantage but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to Oil and Gas, Energy, Nuclear, Government, Industrial, or other specialised logistics customers is preferred.
