Role Overview

Lead the procurement organization and services provided across assigned countries.

Guarantee continuous and sustainable supply while managing procurement risk.

Drive savings, stakeholder value, local capability development, and procurement transformation across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Establish sourcing strategies and implement procurement best practices, including procure-to-pay and contract compliance.
  • Support estimates, budgets, business cases, new product development, and day-to-day procurement operations.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, major contract negotiations, contract utilization, and supplier capacity management.
  • Mentor the procurement team and manage human resource development across the sub-region.
  • Own procurement operations, savings targets, budget, compliance, and e-procurement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant strategic and tactical procurement experience at regional or global level.
  • International work experience in a related industry or category.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or business.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; additional spoken languages are a plus.

Required Skills

  • Analytical ability to perform market, industry, spend, and demand analysis.
  • Expertise in supplier assessment, screening, selection, and total cost of ownership.
  • Expertise in RFx development and execution, e-procurement, and e-auctions.
  • Strong international contract negotiation and Supplier Relationship Management skills.
  • Knowledge of governance, policies, procedures, risk management, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Strong cross-functional, cross-cultural project leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Travel

  • The role requires approximately 15% to 20% travel.

Compensation

  • The salary range is $103,050–$153,888 CAD per year.
