Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee site-level quality operations to ensure products meet customer requirements and company standards.

This is an on-site quality leadership role responsible for compliance, quality strategy, and direct reports.

Customer and Supplier Quality

  • Oversee timely customer complaint investigations across departments through root cause, corrective action, escalation, and management review.
  • Manage supplier quality issues and partner with Procurement to set expectations and review supplier performance.
  • Support supplier audits and ensure outsourced products meet internal quality standards.

Quality Planning and Compliance

  • Support quality planning during new product launches and revise quality plans as needed.
  • Manage inspection and release programs for raw materials, first piece, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Calibrate test equipment and maintain quality document collection, storage, and distribution.
  • Execute internal audits, implement global inspection plans, and maintain SOP metrics.

Metrics and Operational Excellence

  • Collect, analyze, and report quality and productivity metrics with alignment across regional and global calendars and systems.
  • Conduct work and capacity studies and track plant capacity, output, scrap, efficiency, and incentives.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, measure effectiveness, and submit recurring performance reports.

People and Regional Coordination

  • Manage direct reports with clear goals and develop regulatory and needs-based training plans.
  • Coach and mentor quality staff on problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.
  • Coordinate regional quality requests and special projects and act as the site Quality Compliance Lead.

Qualifications

  • BSc degree in Engineering or another relevant field.
  • 5+ years of process management experience in a manufacturing organization.
  • Orientation toward standard operating procedures and exposure to Lean Management problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with recognized quality management systems such as ISO or similar standards, including audits and certification processes.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams toward targets and deliverables within timelines.
