Role overview
Regional Medical Advisor based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting medical education and scientific dialogue in cardiometabolic diseases.
The role provides medical and scientific support to business functions, external customers, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders.
The position reports to the Senior Manager, Metabolic Field Team.
Key accountabilities
- Maintain scientific knowledge of the cardiometabolic portfolio and relevant competitor developments.
- Develop KOL-tailored medical engagement plans and maintain relationships with KOLs and emerging experts.
- Support symposia, meetings, education seminars, local meetings, and external conferences.
- Identify academic and professional collaborations and develop proposals for local funding and initiatives.
- Contribute to medico-marketing strategy and local business plans in compliance with regulations.
- Follow business ethics, local regulations, medical governance, and safety reporting requirements.
- Respond to unsolicited healthcare professional medical information requests.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
- At least two years of pharmaceutical medical affairs experience in a multinational organization or a Bachelor's degree in Medicine.
- Experience in diabetes and obesity is advantageous.
- Strong communication, project management, scientific dialogue, teamwork, and stakeholder networking skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic are required.
