Regional Engineering & Projects Manager

This role leads engineering and project delivery across Cleanaway's WA Industrial Services portfolio, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant and capable of supporting operational performance. You will combine engineering leadership, project execution and technical governance to improve reliability, deliver capital projects and support long-term asset performance.

Lead engineering and project activities across multiple industrial processing facilities throughout Western Australia.

Deliver a portfolio of approximately 10-20 capital projects annually (project budgets from $1-10m), from concept development through commissioning and operational handover.

Partner with operational leaders to identify asset improvement opportunities, manage engineering risks and support business performance.

Manage a small team and provide technical leadership for Management of Change (MOC), PSSR, HAZOP and HAZID activities to support safe and compliant operations.

Influence engineering standards, contractor performance, procurement decisions and long-term asset investment planning.

You are an experienced engineering or project delivery professional who enjoys working across assets, stakeholders and project lifecycles. Engineering degree in Process, Chemical or related technical discipline.

Demonstrated experience delivering engineering CAPEX projects and maintenance outcomes within an industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of project management principles, engineering governance and risk management.

Proven ability to influence operational and technical stakeholders across multiple functions.

Previous people leadership experience would be an advantage, this role would also suit an experienced Senior Project Engineer looking to translate their mentoring and leadership skills into a formal management role
