- Assign and supervise housekeeping duties within Kids & Youth Club spaces
- Ensure all equipment, toys, and facilities are sanitized, maintained, and inspected regularly
Requirements
- Proven experience in recreation, Kids Club, or youth programming within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Background in Early Childhood Education, Recreation, or Luxury Hospitality preferred
- High School or College Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality, Management, Tourism, or related fields
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR/AED, Emergency First Aid at Work and Advanced First Aid at Work
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Refined guest communication skills
- High safety awareness, emotional intelligence, and adaptability
- Creative approach to activity programming and guest engagement
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina and polished professional presence

Job Description
- We are hiring for a Recreation Assistant Manager who will be responsible for supporting the strategic and daily operations of the Recreation Department, with an emphasis on Kids Club and Youth Club supervision.
- This includes overseeing activity programming, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing a team of attendants, engaging with families, and maintaining beautifully presented recreation environments.
- Working closely with the Recreation Manager, this role ensures that families enjoy an extraordinary, safe, and memorable experience aligned with FAENA's signature excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Recreation Manager in the overall leadership and operational management of the Recreation Department.
- Supervise Kids Club and Youth Club teams in delivering engaging, age appropriate experiences for children and teens.
- Treat all children, youth, and parents with warmth, professionalism, dignity, and cultural sensitivity.
- Curate, oversee, and support creative recreational programs that foster confidence, imagination, and social interaction.
- Ensure all registration, consent, and medical forms are accurately completed and properly stored.
- Monitor club operations to ensure guest safety, proactively preventing and responding to injuries or incidents.
- Ensure team participation in mandatory trainings, briefings, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain pristine, inspiring, and safe Kids & Youth Club environments that reflect FAENA luxury standards.
- Log, document, and escalate incidents, guest concerns, and safety hazards promptly.
- Oversee proper sign in and sign out procedures, ensuring the security of all children at all times.
- Guide attendants on elegant organization, storage, and care of toys, equipment, and materials.
- Assign and supervise housekeeping duties within all Kids & Youth Club spaces.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recreation, Kids Club, or youth programming within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Background in Early Childhood Education, Recreation, or Luxury Hospitality preferred.
- High School or College Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality, Management, Tourism, or related fields.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR/AED, Emergency First Aid at Work and Advanced First Aid at Work.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities with a service driven mindset.
