About New Country Healthcare

New Country Healthcare is a UAE healthcare distributor with a portfolio of more than 1,500 products from over 50 international brands.

The company distributes pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, health foods, sports nutrition, cosmeceuticals, and personal products across local and GCC markets.

Position Overview

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for NCH and supports front desk operations, company activities, marketing-led events, and leadership administration.

The role provides secondary support to the Executive Assistant and balances front office, coordination, event, and executive assistance responsibilities.

Front Desk and Communication

  • Welcome visitors, clients, and partners and manage visitor registration, access protocols, and meeting room coordination.
  • Act as the first contact for walk-ins and general enquiries, answering and routing calls and managing the reception email inbox.
  • Direct internal queries and correspondence to the appropriate teams.

Events and Leadership Support

  • Support company events, internal activations, and external engagements, including venues, materials, attendance tracking, and supplier communication.
  • Provide leadership support with calendars, meetings, documents, follow-ups, and appropriate routing of executive communications.
  • Cover defined Executive Assistant duties during absences while maintaining confidentiality and professional judgment.

Office and Service Support

  • Support courier management, document handling, basic reporting, front office supplies, and replenishment requests.
  • Coordinate with facilities, IT, security, and housekeeping to maintain a professional and functional office environment.
  • Maintain service quality, identify improvements, follow company and security policies, and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience in a receptionist, front office, administrative, or executive support role is required.
  • Experience supporting leadership teams, marketing activities, or corporate events is an advantage.
  • Exposure to a corporate, healthcare, FMCG, or professional services environment is preferred.

Technical and Functional Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workplace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Ability to manage calendars, meetings, correspondence, and basic documentation.
  • Familiarity with event coordination, vendor communication, and office administration processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Discretion, professionalism, prioritization, multitasking, adaptability, and dependability are required.
