About This Role

The Radio Access Network Operations Technician provides first-line operational support across radio and transmission networks for the India NOC team.

The role is responsible for 24x7 monitoring, incident detection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, escalation and service restoration.

The position supports network availability, service performance, stakeholder coordination and adherence to operational standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform NOC shift activities and defined operational routines while proactively monitoring network alarms and events.
  • Correlate alarms and events, register incidents accurately, and manage incidents from detection through resolution and closure.
  • Diagnose network faults with remote tools, execute recovery actions, and coordinate rapid service restoration.
  • Escalate and dispatch incidents to engineering teams, suppliers and external partners when required.
  • Monitor active incidents and trouble tickets, support field technicians, and manage impact-based prioritization.
  • Manage technical site access requests, verify network inventory data, and support alarm testing and site interventions.
  • Prepare shift reports and handovers, follow SLAs and KPIs, and support service desk calls, emails and tickets.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of telecommunications operations or similar network support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, radio equipment, packet networks and transmission technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL Incident Management and technical operational support systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with stakeholders, work under pressure and operate 24x7 shifts.
  • Professional written and spoken English skills plus basic programming or scripting knowledge.
