About This Role

Provide first-line operational support across radio and transmission networks for the India NOC team.

Support 24x7 network monitoring, incident detection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, escalation, and service restoration.

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners while adhering to service levels and operational standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform NOC shift activities and execute defined operational routines.
  • Monitor network alarms and events and correlate them to register service-affecting incidents accurately.
  • Manage incidents from detection through resolution and closure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network faults using remote tools and interfaces.
  • Execute remote recovery actions and coordinate rapid service restoration.
  • Escalate incidents beyond first-line scope and dispatch them to engineering teams, suppliers, and partners.
  • Monitor active incidents, alarms, and trouble tickets.
  • Support field technicians with fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Manage access requests for technical sites and network facilities where required.
  • Verify network inventory data and communicate discrepancies to stakeholders.
  • Support maintenance activities, alarm testing, and site intervention support.
  • Prepare shift reports, conduct handovers, and support service desk calls, email, and ticket management.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in telecommunications operations or a similar network support function.
  • Strong understanding of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G technologies.
  • Knowledge of radio equipment including RBS, BSC, and RNC platforms and packet networks including SGSN.
  • Knowledge of PDH, SDH, Metro Ethernet, and IP network technologies.
  • Experience with ITIL Incident Management and technical operational support systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based operational environment during critical incidents.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, collaboration, and customer-focus skills.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge for operational automation initiatives.
