What You Will Do
- Lead Accounting Centre of Excellence responsibilities and IFRS16 governance processes.
- Improve data quality, reporting integrity, and compliance across Vodafone markets.
- Steer accounting treatment for transformation initiatives under IFRS, Group policies, and local GAAP.
- Prioritize and implement accounting initiatives with global teams.
- Support Device Lifecycle Management, AI-driven solutions, and M&A projects.
- Advise Chief Accountants and local markets on financial statements, disclosures, and balance sheet reviews.
- Identify process improvements and analyze IFRS16 performance insights.
- Support global compliance frameworks and Record to Report improvements.
Who You Are
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent with strong IFRS16 and financial accounting expertise.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale finance transformation projects and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
- Effective communicator with strong partnering skills and the ability to provide transparent accounting guidance.
- Analytical, innovative, adaptable, and confident navigating change in a global operating landscape.
- Skilled in IT and data analytics with strong business acumen and collaborative ability.
