- Advise and assist RSAF Officer in Charge in all aspects of radar specialty
- Monitor RSAF training and recommend improvements
- Train RSAF Engineering Officers and Warrant Officers in practical and theory
- Produce engineering training material
- Perform intermediate level maintenance as required
- Support Mobile Maintenance Team functions and travel to remote radar sites for specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and training
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Radar Technology
- 12 15 years of experience on surveillance radars including TPS 43/72 or FPS 117
- Specialized training and certification in radar expertise
- Experience with Long Range Radar operation and maintenance
- Technical knowledge of antennas, processors, computers, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems
- Experience interfacing radars in an air defense network
- Cultural adaptability and ability to establish trusted professional relationship with international customer

Job Overview
- Leidos is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer for a U.S. Air Force FMS program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- This is a one year assignment with option to renew, located in Saudi Arabia with occasional support to remote radar sites.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the RSAF Officer in Charge by advising and assisting in all aspects of radar specialty.
- Continuously monitoring RSAF training and recommending improvements.
- Training RSAF Engineering Officers and Warrant Officers in practical and theory.
- Producing adequate engineering training material.
- Performing intermediate level maintenance as required.
- Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team functions and travel to remote radar sites.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Radar Technology.
- Specialized training and certification in radar expertise.
- 12 15 years of experience on surveillance radars including TPS 43/72 or FPS 117.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Long Range Radar operation and maintenance.
- Experience with Air Defense Ground Radar, Primary/Secondary, 3D radar plot extractors, Height Computers, and interface equipment.
- Technical knowledge of antennas, processors, computers, monitoring, data transmission, plot extractors, power systems.
- Experience interfacing radars in an air defense network and siting radars.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be able to demonstrate past examples of cultural adaptability and ability to establish a trusted professional relationship with an international customer.
Pay Range
- Pay Range $131,300.00 $237,350.00 per year.
