Responsibilities
- Provide face to face non medical counseling to military service members and their families (individuals, couples, families)
- Observe, participate, and engage in activities with service members and families
- Offer presentations to service members, families, and leadership at military connected events
- Build rapport with families by attending installation and community events
- Help with transition adjustments such as new school and new home
- Participate in regular in service training and other contract activities
- Communicate trends and issues to Team Leads
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)
- Valid independent license in mental health field from any US state or territory (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPC, Psychologist)
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to pass a basic background check and NACI/CNACI clearance
- Ability to accommodate overnight shift work

Position Overview
- Leidos is hiring licensed behavioral health professionals for Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team in Qatar.
- This position will work remotely until travel opens to the Middle East.
- Counselors must be able to accommodate overnight shift work.
Adult MFLC Responsibilities
- Face to face counseling to military service members and their families (individuals, couples, and families).
- Visually observe, participate, and engage in activities with service members, military spouses and families.
- Offer presentations to service members, military families, and military leadership at military connected events.
- Build rapport with parents and families by attending installation and community events.
- Help with transition adjustments, such as a new school and a new home.
- Participate in regular in service training or other contract activities as assigned.
- Communicate information regarding trends and issues at assigned installation to Team Leads.
Minimum Requirements
- A Master’s degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
- Valid independent license in the mental health field from any US state or territory (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPC, Psychologist).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance.
