Role Overview
Work as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer with a leading interior fit-out company in Dubai.
The role manages cost-related aspects of interior fit-out projects while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications.
Location and Schedule
- The role is based in Al Quoz, Dubai.
- Working days are Monday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, budgets, tender assessments, and pricing analyses for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage procurement activities, obtain quotations, negotiate with subcontractors, and prepare cost comparisons.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, valuations, payment applications, variations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and support contract administration, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, project specifications, and local regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- One to two years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in interior fit-out.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and market rates.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software such as CostX or Candy.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
